After graduating from Colin’s Performing Arts Aimee had a successful performing career on stage and screen. From Bluebirds the Musical in London to ITVs Trial and Retribution. It was through performing she landed her first choreography job which is where she realised she loved to teach! So she went on to get her IDTA teaching qualification and hopes to help students reach their dreams with all she has learnt and the connections she has made in the industry.
Since taking over the school in 2016 she has been blown away by the support and how far each pupil has come. Not only has SSPA now got a beautiful 3 studio venue and recently performed one of its best shows to date, but the school has also performed at Disneyland Paris; a dream experience for Aimee to share with her students.
Aimee constantly attends courses to keep her training up to date so she can be the best teacher she can be. She believes everyone can continue to learn including herself. She is now also qualified with Acrobatic Arts Module 2, Alixa Flexibility, ID Company and Rosina Andrews Method and most recently Aerial Arts.
Aimee couldn't be prouder of everyone at SSPA and all that they have achieved. It is because of each and every pupil that she loves going to work each day. She wants to thank all the teachers for their hard work and support as without you SSPA wouldn't be possible. It's her aim to make sure SSPA provides students with the best training and each pupil is offered as many opportunities as possible. Not only to help each individual to grow into the best dancer they can be but also to build friendships that will last a lifetime.
