Hello and welcome to Surrey School of Performing Arts. Here at SSPA we offer a wide range of dance and performing arts training to boys and girls from 2 years plus. For more information please take a look at our timetable.
OUR STUDIO
We have a fully equipped venue SSPA STUDIOS that has 3 studios fitted barres, mirrors, sound system and air conditioning. We also have plenty of mats for Acrobatic Arts, Hoop and fitness classes. There is also a small waiting room.
CLASSES
We aim to keep our classes small so that each child gets the one on one tuition to help them grow as dancers and individuals. We make sure this is specifically the case in Ballet.
SHOWS
At SSPA we believe that performance opportunities are a great way for building children's confidence. We hold 1 big annual show EVERY year! We also have performances at local events throughout the year.
EXAMS
Exams are a great way for children to feel they have really achieved something. Exams are not compulsory but we do encourage children to take part if they can. We hold Ballet exams in RAD, Tap exams in ISTD.
FESTIVALS AND COMPETITIONS
We prepare and enter children into many festivals and competitions in the local and surrounding areas. Festivals are for all theatre styles which are usually held at local theatres which is great for extra performance opportunity's and for dancing on different stages. We have children event solos, duets, trios, quads and teams at these events. We enter Street Dance competitions which we also have two street dance crews. EXTRA PERFORMANCES
We try to get extra performances where we can. Previously we have had children in various Amateur Dramatic shows, performances at Wembley, Olympic Stadium and Her Majesty's Theatre London to name a few. Check out our Workshop and Performance page for more information.
